Ava Hefferon, Writer
I am Ava Hefferon, and I am currently enrolled in the VANTAGE Digital Journalism strand. I've been attending Minnetonka since I was in third grade and have overall loved my experience. I was very excited to join the VANTAGE program and learn about the professional world and experience real world problems. During the few months of VANTAGE I have enjoyed working with my amazing mentor Monica Wiant, a current writer at a finance company, and working with my group in our projects.
I have played soccer for over 10 years and have learned many things such as good communication and teamwork. When I'm not playing soccer I also work at a local restaurant and am involved with the school newspaper (Breezes). All of these activities have taught me good time management and how to maintain healthy relationships with others.
