Grace Whisnant, Writer
I am Grace Whisnant, a VANTAGE Digital Journalism student at Minnetonka High School. I’m super excited to see all the real-world opportunities VANTAGE has to offer. I have also been a Spanish Immersion student for the past 13 years, which has allowed me to learn about different cultures around the world, and now through VANTAGE I have the opportunity to apply these skills to real world experiences. It’s important for me to work with a variety of people in order to better understand the world around me and meet a diverse population of opinions and cultural backgrounds. These relationships will help me build a better understanding of myself and my community. Qualities I think are super important are empathy, leadership, and curiosity. I hope that through my VANTAGE experience I can use these characteristics in a way that makes the world a better place.
Some other things about me are that I am a dancer and a softball player. I was also a manager for the girls JV hockey team. I enjoy cooking, baking, and traveling.
