Hello. I am Aaron Debrey, VANTAGE student at Minnetonka’s High Schools Digital Journalism (DJ) strand. I’ve been a student in the Minnetonka district my whole life and I certainly enjoy it here. I like the wide variety of classes that Minnetonka has to offer including VANTAGE, especially DJ. What’s exciting about DJ for me is that I get to explore a wide range of real world scenarios that I don’t get to with just traditional classes. I get to see if a profession is right for me before I even leave high school. I love having a strong connection with the professional world, really seeing what it’s all about. All these things that VANTAGE has to offer helps me think critically and grow as a person.

I really enjoy getting outside as often as I can and trying everything that Minnesota has to offer. I play soccer as I am part of the Minnetonka High School Soccer team and just finished a great season. I like to challenge myself as I try to learn new things whether it be academically or activity wise. Friends are important to me as I enjoy hanging out with them, as well as going to the gym with them.
