Hello, I’m Tate Gilbertson and I am a junior at Minnetonka High School. Since I was young I’ve always had an interest in the process of making videos and the effort put into making them special. When I heard about the VANTAGE Multimedia Communications class, I figured it would be a good fit for me. I am hopeful that this class will be a good learning experience in both video production and writing. Outside of school, I try to participate in MHS musical theatre as much as I can. I also enjoy most musicals I see, even though I don’t get the chance very often.

Heyo! My name is Daxton Hurt and I am a student senior at Minnetonka High School. I feel passionate about a lot of things, ranging from art to science. Most important about all these topics though is that people hear and learn about them, which is why I joined VANTAGE Multimedia Communication. There is so much to learn about in the world, so many people in the world to learn from. Using mediums such as blog posts, videos, and other content types help these ideas spread and help make each viewer’s life more informed and meaningful! I’m very excited to help tell these stories in VANTAGE!

Hi, my name is Henry and I’m part of the Multimedia Communications strand in VANTAGE. I joined this program because I enjoy being creative and learning how to take videos in ways that connect with people. Outside of class, I run a lawn care company called Tonka Care with my friend peter. Through my business, I’ve learned a lot about leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. This summer, I was able to make enough money to buy my own jet ski, that I keep on Lake Minnetonka. I love to take my brothers out and spend time jet skiing with friends.
