Dane Raarup, Writer
I am Dane Raarup. I am a junior at Minnetonka High School in the Digital Journalism VANTAGE strand. I chose this strand because I felt that I would benefit from better skills in writing. My relationship with my mentor has been very helpful because his real world experience can aid in my understanding of how to better communicate with people.
I like to think that a big part of the way I communicate with others is to make sure everyone’s ideas are heard. Everyone has so many characteristics that make them unique and worth hearing. My goal in life is that no matter what I’m putting into the world, I try to stray away from what is standard and give the people something worth their time. Using this in my life and in this class has been very helpful for my success. One of my biggest passions is creative expression through different mediums of art. In my free time I like to write and record music.
