I am Sam Fellner, a Junior at Minnetonka Highschool and I am enrolled in the VANTAGE course, Digital Journalism. I love communication in general. Writing and just telling stories have been a part of my nature, probably passed down from my mother who has been in the journalism field for over 20 years. Although I have no idea how to actually be good at video editing and effects, I really enjoy watching videos where the editor is extremely talented at what they do. I appreciate Digital journalism because it utilizes the two very effectively. Outside of school I specifically enjoy running and developing memories with the people around me, but I’m very grateful for all aspects of life. I aspire to become better at adapting in a professional setting, and combining with other people to make an idea a great reality. I think it’s very important in a group environment to favor your partner’s ideas over your own. I hope I can become a well rounded communicator in all aspects, writing and speaking, and can be beneficial to future business partners with editing and writing proficiency.
