I am Piper Benning, a senior in the VANTAGE Digital Journalism (DJ) strand. I chose DJ because of my interest in film production as well as creative writing. I am privileged to be a part of an amazing program that will not only help me develop my knowledge in film and writing, but also develop professionalism skills for the future. Outside of school, I enjoy playing video games, watching tv shows and movies, as well as exploring nature. I believe that observing the world around you and learning from it is important in growing yourself creatively. I plan to use my abilities gained from both my hobbies as well as VANTAGE to grow my skills as a filmmaker.
