My name is Josie Redetzke, and I am a junior at Minnetonka High School. I am currently in Vantages’ strand, Digital Journalism. I’ve taken many different types of classes in my years of school, but by far I’d have to say that this one might be my favorite. I was first intrigued to be in DJ, because some of my family is in journalism and I’ve seen how much they love it. Then when I started the class, it was a whole new experience. Digital Journalism is exciting because it gives my fellow classmates and I me amazing opportunities to experience things we haven’t before. Storytelling, video production, site visits and business projects make this class very interesting and excites me to want to learn more.

Qualities I strive for are determination, perseverance, honesty and being caring and empathetic to everyone I meet. I believe that being curious and always wanting to know more are great qualities to embrace. I love to be educated on current events and things going on in our world today and in history. I’d call myself a dogmom of my two puppies and I love to be at the beach!
