Griffin Carver, Writer
I’m Griffin Carver, a senior at Minnetonka high school in the Multimedia Communications VANTAGE strand. I play football, run track, and I love to draw. I took this course because I have a passion for film and storytelling, and I’m very excited to get more experience. Aside from typical reasons, I developed a love for film after I had learned to draw comics from an elective class, as comics and film share many similarities. I hope VANTAGE will help me grow my interpersonal and professional skills, which will be invaluable to me when I enter the working world. I aspire to be a director/screenwriter.
Griffin Allred, Writer
I am Griffin Allred and I am in the multimedia and communications strand for VANTAGE. After I was told about this strand by one of my friends and looked into it, I knew I had to try it. One of the things I’m most excited for is to get real world experiences and get to learn digital videography and journalism. I would say I’m someone who loves to be surrounded by my friends and family. I love playing sports such as, basketball, baseball and track and messing around with other ones too, again I like doing those with my friends. Spending my whole life at Minnetonka has been an awesome experience and I can’t imagine having it any other way.
Addison Aleman, Writer
My name is Addison Aleman, I am a senior at Minnetonka high school. I am taking Multimedia Communications to go outside of what I would normally do and try something new. I am familiar with the VANTAGE program and wanted continue it. In my free time, I am very passionate about work and mountain biking. I am on the Minnetonka mountain bike team which I spend a lot of my summer and fall with. Most of the school year I work at lifetime where I also workout with friends. I also spend lots of time with my younger brothers who are a big part of my life.
I’m Esteban Villa, a junior at Minnetonka High School enrolled in the VANTAGE Multimedia Communications strand. I chose to take this course because I have an interest in production of videos and the process and decision making that go into creating media. I’ve played soccer my whole life and it’s an important part of me as a person, I enjoy going on walks and being out on Lake Minnetonka during the warm summer days. My goal in taking this course is to obtain new knowledge and experience within the video production and digital journalism world.
