Isabel LaRoche, Writer
I’m Isabel LaRoche and a junior at Minnetonka high school. I decided to take VANTAGE this year to practice how to be in a more professional environment before I graduate and go off on my own. I specifically chose Multimedia Communications because I wanted to learn more about how to create a video to tell a story because it’s something I don’t have much practice in. Outside of school, I benefit from working in a team because I’m on a synchronized figure skating team and it’s something I’m strong at. Also, being creative is something I enjoy because I love to paint and that’s something I’m really passionate about.
Hannan Mohamud, Writer
I’m Hannan Mohamud, a VANTAGE Multimedia Communications student. I’m a junior at Minnetonka and choosing this strand wasn’t much of a hard choice. I’ve always loved English class and the aspect of being able to write and make stories come to life with the help of the digital world is strongly appealing to me. It’s all so interesting & makes me that much more excited to learn! Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family and friends, and I’m an avid reader. I have so many favorite authors, but Marie Lu’s books were the first I ever read so those are pretty special to me.

I am Annie Hippen, a senior at Minnetonka High School, and I am in Multimedia Communications at VANTAGE. I chose this strand because I better learn with hands-on experience, have a passion for storytelling, and have a hobby for creating videos, so selecting this strand was an easy decision. Not only can I do one of my favorite things for school but it will better prepare me with professionalism and skills for my future. I have been a swimmer for a decade and am currently a captain of the swim and dive team for the high school. Additionally, I love camping, painting, writing, and overall spending time with the people I love.
