Grace Gabelhouse, Writer
Hi! I’m Grace Gabelhouse and I’m a senior here at MHS. I have always loved the idea of learning how to film and produce videos, so VANTAGE Multimedia Communications seemed like the perfect fit for me. I am so excited to get to learn more about the media world through this program. I also hope this will tie in well with my work with the technical crew in the theater program, where I am a stage manager. I love this job because I get to work with so many different people and help make amazing shows and I believe that my skills from theater will work well here in VANTAGE.
Isabel LaRoche, Writer
I’m Isabel LaRoche and a junior at Minnetonka high school. I decided to take VANTAGE this year to practice how to be in a more professional environment before I graduate and go off on my own. I specifically chose Multimedia Communications because I wanted to learn more about how to create a video to tell a story because it’s something I don’t have much practice in. Outside of school, I benefit from working in a team because I’m on a synchronized figure skating team and it’s something I’m strong at. Also, being creative is something I enjoy because I love to paint and that’s something I’m really passionate about.
Sophia Lyons, Writer
I’m Sophia Lyons, I am a junior at Minnetonka High School with aspirations to work for sports media in the future. I am so excited to start Multimedia and Communications to learn more about communicating important information digitally. I’ve been in Spanish Immersion for 11 years which has helped me learn about different cultures around the world. With what I’ve learned throughout the years, I hope to apply those skills this year at VANTAGE .I currently play on the Junior Varsity volleyball team. Throughout my years of playing volleyball I’ve learned so much about leadership and working with others and I hope to apply those skills as well.
